Make Complete Streets work for people who walk

Walk-friendly advocacy is not a spectator sport!

Complete Streets are ones that are designed and operated to serve people using all transportation modes, including walking, riding bicycles, driving cars and using public transit. They also serve people of all ages and abilities.

But all too often, people who walk get the short end of the stick. Your voice is essential to ensuring that projects funded by Renew Atlanta bonds include safe crossing treatments at all intersections and other places people want to cross the street.

Your voice matters at Public Meetings!Renew atlanta logo

The City of Atlanta is holding meetings on each of the Complete Streets projects funded by Renew Atlanta bonds.

These provide excellent opportunities for you to learn about proposed improvements and tell transportation professionals and elected officials what changes you’d like these projects to include.
