Pedestrian Case Dismissed
July 16, 2009 at 10:49am by PEDS · 1 commentIn our January e-newsletter, we told you about Paul Grether, a pedestrian and PEDS member who was ticketed by undercover Atlanta Police for crossing the street where he shouldn’t. Paul contested the ticket. Six months later, Paul finally had his day — well, his moment — in court. The judge took just 30 seconds to dismiss the case. Paul knew his rights and you should too. Visit our Pedestrian Right of Way page for a full explanation — with pictures — of what the Georgia code says about pedestrians.

Way to go, Paul! With PEDS by your side, you fought and won. Thanks, PEDS, for not only protecting our rights, but educating us about them, too! -B
