Pedestrian Case Dismissed

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

In our January e-newsletter, we told you about Paul Grether, a pedestrian and PEDS member who was ticketed by undercover Atlanta Police for crossing the street where he shouldn’t. Paul contested the ticket. Six months later, Paul finally had his day — well, his moment — in court. The judge took just 30 seconds to dismiss the case. Paul knew his rights and you should too. Visit our Pedestrian Right of Way page for a full explanation — with pictures — of what the Georgia code says about pedestrians.
